Helping communities reduce their energy consumption

 

 

PARENT stands for PARticipatory platform for sustainable ENergy managemenT. The aim of the project is to provide communities with the technology and support to help reduce energy consumption in their homes and to investigate ways in which communities can work towards more sustainable life styles. It is an ongoing three year project with pilot studies in Brussels, Amsterdam and Bergen.

We ask our participants to share their experiences, suggestions and ideas through our workshops, events and Facebook group.

Through our online platform, the participants in our project can compare their consumption and performance with similar households and compete in challenges.

Tips

We send newsletters to participants, which include a project update, a summary of participants’ energy consumption in comparison with other households, tips and local events on energy reduction and sustainability.
