EDORA is the “federation of companies developing products and services geared towards the energy transition”. Its mission is to support decarbonization of the economy and promote environmental solutions according to the three pilars of energy, socio-economic, and environmetnal optimums. EDORA takes stances on the use of various forms of renewable energy such as wind, solar, and bioenergy. The non-profit attempts to influence energy policy on the “federal, regional, and European” levels.
Key initiatives
EDORA developed the “Renewable Energy for Snuls” campaign in order to provide citizens with information on renewable forms of energy. The campaign consists of videos that address counter-truths to the information that has been been disseminated on the subject of renewable energy by the media. An exampe is, “Counter-Truth: Renewables are more expensive than other types of energy”. These videos are accompanied by explanatory sheets which further address the importance of sustainable energy use.
