Nature & Progrès “is an association of awareness, information and awareness of the general public to environmental issues”. Local groups exist across Belgium, including in the Brussels-Capital Region. The non-profit organization provides services such as organic agriculture, gardening collectives, and ecoconstruction (healthy housing and energy support).
Key initiatives
Nature & Progrès supports individuals who wish to build a home in a sustainable manner. According to the organization, construction projects are a large producer of waste. Via public education and awareness campaigns, Nature & Progrès supports people with chartering manufacturers, insulation, evaluation of the energy grid, and more. The materials used in this program must meet environmental standards, such as low energy production. Additonally, Nature & Progress’s Eco-bioconstruction efforts include providing people with thematic notebooks in eco-bioconstruction, practical workshops and more. See more.
